Orphan Benefits under Provident Fund Act

Orphan pension payable to the beneficiaries of such employees under 6A.(1)(b) of Employees’ Pension Scheme

1. Pension Amount is 75% of monthly widow pension. with minimum of Rs 750 per month, each for two orphans at a time;
2. Pension shall be paid till the age of 25 years;
3. Pension shall be paid for the entire life if an orphan is suffering from any disability
