Subject:- Matter of technical study and remediation in cases of illegal disposal of hazardous waste.
In cases of Unauthorized / Illegal Disposal of Hazardous Waste Units, when legal action is taken by the Board against such guilty units under various environmental laws, to take remedial action against them or to deal with the environmental damage done at the place of disposal of hazardous waste. Instructions are given for conducting the study and for Remedies.
While studying the various files of the units at the Board's office in Gandhinagar, it has been noticed that in order to make such studies and rimless operations more qualitative and reliable, such studies must be done by institutions with high technical capacity and credibility.
In view of the importance of the above, in all cases of factual study in all cases of Remediation operation as part of a proper system, the Heads of all Units and Regional Officers shall must be kept in mind.
