Kerala Trade Union (Amendment) Regulations, 2019 - Draft
The State Government of Kerala issues a Draft Kerala Trade Union (Amendment) Regulations, 2019 to further amend the Kerala Trade Union Regulations, 1958.
The amendments are as under:
- Regulation 4A has been inserted, namely:
Time limit for registration: Every application duly submitted for registration of a trade union in accordance with section 5 shall be disposed within 30 days.
- Under Regulation 5 which specifies the procedure for application for certificate for recognition of trade union, the fee for a certificate has been substituted as ten thousand rupees instead of one thousand rupees.
The Draft rules will be taken up for consideration on or after three months from the date of publication of this Notification in the Gazette (January 06, 2020) and that objections and suggestions will be addressed to the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Labour and Skilled (E) Department, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram-695001.
