The Bangalore Mahanagar Palika has announced that all the Shops and Commercial Establishment in Bangalore shall display their company’s name board in Kannada and the failure to do the same will result in legal action against the company with penalty. On continuation of the violation, the company’s licence may even be terminated by the BBMP officials . The order directs to use 60 % of Kannada language and 40% can be any other language on the Name board.
