Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Directorate of Enforcement (‘ED’) at his residence in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case on 21-03-2024. On 20-03-2024, the Delhi High Court sought response from the ED on maintainability of the plea filed by Kejriwal challenging the summons issued to him by the ED. Two weeks’ time was granted to the ED for submitting the reply and the matter was listed for 22-04-2024. Earlier, the Rouse Avenue Court granted bail to Kejriwal subject to furnishing bail bond of Rs 15,000 and a surety of Rs 1 lakh
