Chandigarh Lockdown Guidelines - Notification

Whereas vide order no 40-3/2020-DM-I(A), dated - 29/04/2021, the Union Home Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India had issued an order under Section10(2)(1) of the Disaster Management Act 2005, stipulated the guidelines for the effective control of COVID-19 in the country up to 30/May/2021

1. Night Curfew 6 PM to 5 AM
2. Day Time Restriction from 5 PM, 4 May to 5AM 11 May

• All Non-essential Shop shall be closed
• Shop selling Milk, Bread, Vegetable, fruit, groceries, mobile repairs, dairy products, meat, bakeries, opticals shall remain open
• Restaurant - hotels, cafe, Coffee shop, Eating Place - Allowed for
• Home delivery is allowed till 9 PM
• Take away is allowed till 5 PM
• 50% work capacity for - Government, Bank, Public Transport
• Government office Visitors needs to
• Appointment for meeting any Government officials
• Vaccination Certificate or RT-PCR Report
• Govt. office will remain open till 5 PM
• Private office - Shall do Work From Home
• Ban on Public Entertainment & engagement like - Cinema, SPA, Gym etc
• Closed - School, College & Coaching
• Open - Manufacturing Units/industry
• Employee & Labour Movement - Allowed
• Vehicle carrying Employee - Allowed
• Unit/Industry needs to issue requisite permission / ID Card 

Any breach shall invite action under section 51 to 60  of the Disaster Management Act 2005.
