EASE OF DOING BUSINESS (EoDB)- STATE REFORMS ACTION PLAN - MAINTENANCE OF REGISTERS UNDER VARIOUS LABOUR ACTS - PROVISION TO ALLOW MAINTENANCE OF ONLINE REGISTERS AND RECORDS (APPLICABLE TO ALL INDUSTRIES) INSTEAD OF MANUAL REGISTERS.

The Government of India, Department of Industries and Commerce and promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi have recommended maintenance of digital registers instead of manual registers under all Labour Acts to improve Ease of Doing Business in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Accordingly, the State Government have decided to introduce a scheme for maintenance of digital registers/ electronic format instead of manual registers under the following Acts (applicable to all industries). The Form for Integrated Trade Licence and Registration Under AP Shops and Establishment Act, 1988 is Annexed.

- Payment of Bonus Act, 1965
- Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970
- Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972
- Andhra Pradesh Factories and Establishments (National, Festival and other Holidays) Act, 1974
- Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976
- Sales Promotion Employees (Conditions and Service) Act, 1976
- Equal Remuneration Act, 1976
- Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979
- Child & Adolescent Labour (Abolition & Regulation) Act, 1986
- Andhra Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1987

- The Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Cess Act, 1996

The number of electronic /digital registers maintained under the above acts
shall be as per the rules made there under.
The Special Commissioner of Labour, A.P., Vijayawada shall take necessary
action accordingly.
