LABOUR EMPLOYMENT TRAINING & FACTORIES DEPARTMENT (IMS&VIG)  EMPLOYEES STATE INSURANCE ACT, 1948 - EXEMPTION UNDER SECTION 87 & 88 READ WITH SECTION 91-A OF THE EMPLOYEES STATE INSURANCE ACT, 1948 TO FACTORIES / ESTABLISHMENTS ENGAGED IN SEASONAL PROCESSING AND RE-DRYING OF UN-MANUFACTURED LEAF TOBACCO OR INCIDENTAL THERETO TILL 02-07-2020 FROM THE DATE OF ISSUE OF NOTIFICATION.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under section 87& 88 read with section 91-A of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (Act No.34 of 1948) the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby exempts Factories / Establishments in Andhra Pradesh State engaged in the seasonal processing and re-drying of un­manufactured leaf tobacco or processes incidental and connected there with from the operation of the said Act till 02.07.2020 with effect from the date of issue of notification subject to usual terms and conditions.

Can't be appreciated.If needed Government may exempt payment of employee employer contributions but insurance benefits must be considered to the employees
