Delhi Minimum Wages 1 Octuber 2017 - 31 March 2018


In exercise of the powers conferred by Central Government vide Notification No. 186(E) dated 19th January, 2Ol7 of the Ministry of Labour and Employment the undersigned hereby declares that there shall be no increase in Variable Dearness Allowance for the period of 1.10.2017-31.3.2018 due to decrease in the average Consumer Price Index for the period January, 2017 lo June, 2017 lor the workers employed in Agrlculture and thereby resulting in the VDA remaining the sarne as it was during the period of 7.4.2017 to 3O.9.2O77. This order shall come into force w.e.f. 0 1. 10.2017.
Therefore, the minimum rates of wages including the basic rates and Variable Dearness Allowance payable w.e.f. 01.10.2017 to the employees would be same as under:








The VDA has been rounded off to the next higher rupee as per the decision of the Minimum Wages Advisory board. The classification of workers under different categories will be same as in Part-I of the notification, whereas classification of cities will be same as in the Part-II of the notiflcation dated 19t1, January, 2Ol7 . Tt-.e present classilication of cities into areas A, B & C is enclosed at Annexure I for ready reference.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Central Government Vide Notification No.S.O.189(E) dated 19th January, 2Ol7 of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, the undersigned hereby declares that there shali be no increase in Variable Dearness Allowance for the period of 1.lO.2Ol7 -31.3.2018 due to decrease in the average Consumer Price Index for the period January, 2Ol7 to June, 20 17 for the workers employed in Industrial Workers and thereby resulting in the VDA remaining the same as it was during the period of 1.4.2017 to 30.9.2077 . This order shall come into force w.e.f. 01. 1O.2017.
RATES OF V.D.A.FOR EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED IN "STONE MINES' would be same as under:

Therefore, the minimum piece rate wages showing the basic and Variable Dearness Allowance payable w.e.f. 01.10.20J7 to the employees employed in Stone Mines shall be as under:

RATES OF V.D.A.FOR EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED IN "Employment of Sweeping and Cleaning excluding activities prohibited under the Employment of Manual Scavengers and Construction of Dry Latrines (Prohibition Act, 1993'. Therefore, the minimum rates of wages including the basic rates and Variable Dearness Allowance payable w.e.f. 01.10.2017 to the employees would be same









The VDA has been rounded off to the next higher rupee as per the decision of the Minimum Wages Advisory Board.
The classification of workers under different categories will be same as in Part-I of the notification, whereas classification of cities will be same as in the Part-II of the notification dated 19th January, 2017. The present classification of cities into areas A, B & C is enclosed at Annexure I for ready reference.

Therefore, the minimum rates of wages including the basic rates arrd Variable Dearness Allowance payable w.e.f. 01. i0.2017 to the employees would be same under:
