Re-constitutes the Board of Mining Examinations (Coal) a for a period of three years

New Delhi, the 23rd March, 2017

S.O. 961(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Regulations (1), (2), (3) and (4) of Regulation 11 of the Coal Mines Regulations, 1957, and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour & Employment number S.O. 2073(E), dated 05-07-2013, the Central Government hereby re-constitutes the Board of Mining Examinations (Coal) and appoints the following persons as members of the Board for a period of three years or till their successor is appointed whichever is later, from the date of publication of this notification, namely :—

1. Chief Inspector of Mines — Chairman (Since designated as Director General of Mines Safety) -ex-officio.
2. Dr. D. C. Panigrahi, Director, IIT, (ISM), — Member Dhanbad-826004, Jharkhand.
3. Dr. C.N. Ghosh, Chief Scientist (CIMFR), — Member Dhanbad-826015, Jharkhand.
4. Shri A. K. Singh, Director (Technical), P&P — Member Eastern Coalfields Limited Sanctoria, P.O Disergarh Burdwan, W. Bengal-713333.
