Re-constitutes the Board of Mining Examinations (Metal) and appoint the following persons as members of the Board for a period of three years

New Delhi, the 6th March, 2017

S.O. 772(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Regulations (1), (2), (3) and (4) of Regulation 11 of the Metalliferous Mines Regulations, 1961 and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour & Employment number S.O. 1664(E) dated 20-07-2011, the Central Government hereby constitutes the Board of Mining Examinations (Metal) and appoint the following persons as members of the Board for a period of three years from the date of publication of this notification, namely :—

1. Chief Inspector of Mines - Chairman ex-officio (Since designated as Director General of Mines Safety)
2. Dr. Narendra Kumar Nanda -Member Director (Technical), NMDC Limited, 10-3-311/A, Khanij Bhavan, Castle Hills, Masab tank Hyderabad-500028.
3. Dr. Ram Madhab Bhattacharjee, - Member Professor, Department Of Mining Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad-826004
4. Dr. V.M.S.R Murthy, - Member Professor and Head Department of Mining Engineering Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad-826004, Jharkhand.
